This Delaware resort area hosts many events for fun-seekers of all ages. Shoppers can find shore bargains at the spring and fall Sidewalk Sales held in May and October. During the spring, Dewey Beach hosts several music festivals and during the summer, you will enjoy the free Monday night movies and Wednesday night bonfires on the beach at Dagsworthy Street. Celebrate the 4th of July in Downtown Rehoboth with fireworks on the beach or listen to an outdoor concert at the Bandstand. In August, bring your shovels and pails and join the Sandcastle Contest held the first Saturday of August.
The fun doesn’t stop there! The fall brings events such as the Indian Powwow, Elvis Festival, Greyhounds, Jazz Festival, Film Festival and the Sea Witch Halloween and Fiddler’s Festival. To close the year out, both Rehoboth and Dewey Beach hold tree lightings and holiday happenings.
